Zhang Enli
Zhang Enli was born in Jilin Province, China in 1965. He graduated from the Arts & Design Institute of Wuxi Technical University in 1989. He lives and works in Shanghai. His work has been shown internationally, in Pre-Emptive (2006) at Kunsthalle Bern, and in Infinite Painting curated by Francesco Bonami and Sarah Cosulich Canarutto at Villa Manin Centro d’Arte Contemporanea, Udine, and at the Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Arts in Peekskill New York last year. Upcoming solo shows will take place at Shanghart Gallery, Shanghai, in 2008, and at Ikon Gallery, Birmingham, in 2009.
