In styling rockers, Hedi Slimane studies movement, build and music.
Hedi Slimane is the man responsible for the way rock 'n' roll looks today. His slim-line aesthetic, a cross between sleek and slacker, mod and 1980s punk, is everywhere — on David Bowie, Beck, Elton John, Bryan Ferry, Jake Shears of the Scissor Sisters, Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth, Alex Kapranos of Franz Ferdinand. For the kickoff of the Rolling Stones' A Bigger Bang tour last weekend, Mick Jagger turned to Slimane to design his skin-tight blue metallic jeans, silver satin jacket and black T-shirt with red crystal embroideries. A Boston-based band, Keys to the Streets of Fear, has even released a song titled Hedi Slimane.

- Mirror. Mirror. Portugal as seen by Magnum Photographers
- From 1 July to 28 August 2005 the Centro Cultural de Belém, Lisbon will be showing images of Portugal taken by Magnum Photographers. The exhibition is accompanied by a book, published by Magnum Steidl, which features the personal visions of 13 photographers who each took images at different moments under specific circumstances.

- Jockum Nordström A Stick in the Wood at Moderna Museet

Jockum Nordstöm will be showing at Moderna Museet, Stockholm from 18 June – 25 September. This is his largest solo exhibition to date and will feature a total of 30 drawings and 20 collages.
His work has received wide international acclaim — earlier in the year he was chosen as Artist of the Year at the Armory Show, New York and his work is represented in several public collections including MoMA and Moderna Museet.
